My summer holidays

This is the video of my oral presentation of my summer holidays!

Writing:

Hello, my name is Blanca. Today I'm going to talk about my summer holidays. First I'm going to talk about Camp Nashoba, second I'm going to talk about Peru and finally I going to talk about Pals.

Camp Nashoba North:

I went one month to Camp Nashoba, it's a summer camp in Raymond, Maine in the north east of USA. It was a big experience! I did a lot of different activities for example: water skiing, arts & crafts, tubing, sailing and some more activities. I met a lot of different people from around the world and lovely persons. In the morning, I got up at 7 o'clock and then we went to up the flag with special clothes. After that we had breakfast and then cleaned the cabin. Then I had 3 activities and lunch. Then we had candy time and rest hour. After that 2 activities and free swim, then dinner and night activities. On Fridays there were dance, on Saturdays there were arts night and on Sundays there were barbecue and campfire.

Peru:

I went to Peru with my family. We went to Nazca and we saw The Nazca Lines. They are big lines and if you want to watch, you can watch the lines with a little plane. Then we went to Arequipa, it’s a normal city and there’s an amazing church. Then we took a plane and we went to Cuzco, its similar to a Spanish city. We took a train and we went to Aguas Calientes and we saw the Machu Pichuu, it was amazing! The next day we climbed Huayna Pichuu. After that, we took a plane to Iquitos; it’s a poor city. And we took a boat and we saw Amazon River and a butterfly’s farm, it was amazing. After we took a plane and we went to Lima, it’s the capital of Peru but its not beautiful.

Pals:

I went to my flat in Pals. In Pals I stayed for 1 week and I relaxed on the beach, in the swimming pool and played Paddle with my father, sister and brother.

Observation of my oral presentation: 

-Did you use any resources? Yes, I use a powerpoint.

-Were the resources relevant and attractive? Yes, because it's more easy.

- Did you look at your audience most of the time? Yes, I look the audicence.

- Did you read from your notes? No, I didn't have a paper.

- Did you do any gestures/movement to hold the attention of your audience? Yes, I use the imatges.

- Did you organize your ideas in order of importance? Yes, I organized my ideas.
- Did you use discourse markers to to make your ideas more clear? No, I didn't use any markers.

- Did you introduce interesting NEW information to your audience? Yes,  I introduce new information with the countries.

- Did you look up information/facts/ideas in the internet, books..? Yes a little bit in the translator.

was your information more superficial or more detailed, and original?
I think was more detailed than the last year.
Language

- Did you chech your grammar? Yes, I check my grammar.

- Did you use rich vocabulary looking up the dictionary? I didn't use the dictionary because I think didn't need more vocabulary.

- Did you use sentence linkers? Yes, I used linkers.

- Did you use fillers? I used some fillers.

Pronounciation & intonation

- Did you know how to pronounce all your words? Yes, I know it.

- Did you check the pronunciation with a dictionary, a classmate or the teacher? No, I didn't need help to check my pronunciation.

- Did you change your tone of voice or use a monotone tone all the time? I change my tone of voice depend the sentence. -Did you speed in a fluid continuum or with breaks and interruptions? I spoke really speed in a fluid continuum.
