2. HISTORY OF A PRODUCT

Hi, my name is Blanca and today I'm going to talkd about Chanel. First I'm going to talk about the history of Chanel, second I'm going to talk about how it became popular and finally Chanel at the actuality. 

The big trendy brand of Chanel got this name because of ther brand's designer was called Coco Chanel. The people started wearing her beautiful hats and a few years later her clothes because she started to have relationships with very famous and rich people. And they were wearing her clothes and accessories. After t hat her designs made a fashion revolution all over the world. This situation made Coco famous with the help of Balsan and Capel that they were friends. She became the most fashion woman designer. Chanel makes ready-to-wear, perfume, jewellery, makeup, shoes, nail polish and accessories. All of those products are made with exclusive and high quality.

This brand become popular because famous people started wearing it in public shows and the aristocratic people wanted to wear like them so they bought the clothes of Coco Chanel.

These days, Chanel is popular all over the world. The products are quite expensive and they are produced in an elegant, sophisticated and original styles keeping the main objective: being like Coco's style. And also you can find the Chanel products fakes all over the world.

1. SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Hi, my name is Blanca and today I'm going to talk about my summer holidays. First, I'm going to talk about Camp Nashoba North, second, I'm going to talk about Pals and finally back home. Let's start.

CAMP NASHOBA NORTH:

Just one day after school, on July 23rd, I took a plane to Boston for spending half of my summer, seven weeks in USA. Camp Nashoba it’s a camp of Maine, USA and its two hours form Boston. You can do it a lot of activities like waterfront, land sports or arts and craft. Then in some days you do special things like July 4th, the USA independence that we did a water war or in both sessions we did the waterfront carnival and palouza, it’s a big concert.  

So yeah, during the first days I met some new people but some other I knew from last year. The camp was really changed because almost all counselors, they were new from last year. The counselors are the people who teach you and two or three of them are in the same cabin as you. I met a girl, Elsa who I spent all day except for some activities. I know everything about her and all the counselors told us that we were like twins. Every person asked if we were friends at home. During change over, we did some different activities because we were only 5 campers and all the counselors. Change over is the period between the two sessions and you only can stay in the camp if you are international. We went to the ocean (they say ocean and not beach) , cinema, shopping, mosquitoes, it’s an ice-cream shop...and in one morning we did waterskiing, wakeboarding and tubing. And the best part of Change over, it was that we could use or mobile phones and I spoke with some friends. It was so great.

So during second session we were more closed with the counselors because we know it all of them from last session. And just the day before I left it was so sad because I spent really good times and I met an awesome people. Elsa and I, we wish we can go next year or in two years like a JC. And probably, I’ll go with Javi to Vigo for visit Elsa and Rafa that they are form there and at the time I’ll visit my cousin with them.

PALS:

After I arrived there I spent the days in Pals, relaxing on the beach and on the swimming pool. One day I went to Sant Antoni for my grandmother's birthday with all my family. Then on Monica's birthday, I went to l'Escala with Monica, Marta and Judit and we had a beautiful day on the beach and we had so much fun together. And anther day I walked on a beautiful path near the sea, that its in all the Catalans coast. Then Monica came to my house in Pals for spending some days and we had good times in the elevator and in the swimming pool.

BACK HOME:

That part of the summer its the worst part of it. It was the really end of an awesome summer. I wish I could be in summer again. But I stayed at home and I hanged out with my friends. And some days I went to Barcelona for shopping and some other things.

ITALY

Hi, my name is Blanca and today I'm going to talk about my travel to Italy with my school class. First I'm going to talk about Pisa, then Firenze, after that Rome and finally my conclusion about the trip.

At 4:45 we took the bus to Girona-Costa Brava airport to fly to Pisa, it was such a tired morning because we took planes and we got up really early. In Pisa we visited the Pisa tower, the baptisteries and cathedral. We had free time and we did some photos with the tower. It was the coldest day but then, when we went to the restaurant, it was so warm. After lunch, we took a bus to Firenze and everyone fold sleep. After we arrived, we had free time for shopping or do whatever we wanted to do.

During the second day, we visited Uffizzi Gallery with the awesome paintings, like the birth of Venus or Allegory of Spring. Then we walked to the Basilica Di Santa Maria del Fiore and we saw indoors. On the afternoon, the people that we wanted we could go to the top of the Basilica, and I did it after all the stairs we viewed an incredible view. This probably was the most incredible view of the travel because we could see all Florence under our eyes. Then we went to the Academy where we could visit David, made by Miguel Angelo.

On the third day, we went to the train station and we took our train to the way on Rome. When we arrived, we had lunch and then we walked to Republica place, Venezia place and Pantheon. After all, we had free time and then we went to Trevi fountain which I like so much, I don't know why but I think that is so awesome for the light it have and the beautiful place it is.

On the forth day, it was the most tired one because we spend all day in Vatican City, which was interesting, but it was tired for walking over there and for all the presentations. We went to the top of the cathedral but it was better than the Santa Maria del Fiore. After this long journey, we went to the centre of Rome and we spend some time in the Pantheon. When we were there, we saw some dancers making publicity and we enjoyed watching them.

On the last day, we went to Coliseum but everyone was tired because at the night we didn’t sleep so much. And then at 4 o’clock we went to the airport and here was the end of our beautiful travel.

In conclusion, it was awesome for the times together we had. So this trip it’ll be in our heads because it’s the end of all primary and secondary school with the same class.

6. AN OPINION ESSAY

CHANGING LAWS:

The government plans to introduce a new law which is about introducing school on Saturday mornings in order to imporve the level of education. In my view, this would have some negative consequences for the teenagers and a lot of people will complain to the government.

In the first place, I believe that it won’t work because the children will be very tired doing six school days and angry because the Saturday and the Sunday are their days for relax, to do their homework, or to stay with their family...
Furthermore I think that it will be unfair because there are more other ways to improve the level of the education and five days studying at school is enough. I have no doubt that a lot of families will have a lot of problems to bring their children at school (because they are working) if this law is introduced.

In conclusion, if the aim of the government is to improve the level of the education, it seems to me that there’s a better alternative: if they spend more hours on the subject that they want to improve during the five days of the school, the children will learn more and their education will be better.

5. ABOUT ME AND MY VIEW OF THE WORLD

My name is Blanca and I'm 15. I'm a student of Casa Nostra School in Banyoles, Girona. The most important for me in my life is sport and cooking. I've been practising both hobbies since I was three or four years old. Some of my friends are interested in sport too, but they play different sports, than mine, paddle. The thing that I like best is going to sleepover at friends' houses or meet my best friends.  

People don't think that the world is a bad place, although we have to take care of it. We don't have to waste water, we have to be careful with the environment for the global warming, so we must recycle. The things that annoy me must stubborn people, when my brother makes me angry about his jokes and I don't like faking people. 

In this moment I'm worried about what may happen in the future, like cancer. I hope and I wish that every illness will have a cure.

I find a bit frightening that problems aren't solved. Really, I don't see myself with clarity in the future, because I don't know what I will do. But I'm sure that the job which I choose, will be something related with helping people. Also, I see myself travelling, because I love visting new places, and doing things everywhere.
